Joni Sledge, from the '70s and '80s group Sister Sledge was found dead on Friday. She was 60 years old. Sister Sledge was most famous for their 1979 hit "We Are Family".
In a Facebook post, the group said, quote, "We're saddened to inform you that our dear sister, mother, aunt, niece and cousin, Joni passed away . . . We miss her and hurt for her presence, her radiance, and the sincerity with which she loved and embraced life."
